Before you join

How polygyny works

Read this first. It explains the sister-wife dynamic, what a covenant household actually asks of everyone in it, and the boundaries this community holds — so you can decide honestly whether it is for you.

The conviction

Polygyny is a household of one husband with more than one wife — a pattern present throughout Scripture in the homes of Abraham, Jacob, Elkanah and David. Members here hold it as a lawful, covenantal way of life, not a casual arrangement. We are not a hookup community and not a swinging community.

Who is here

Two kinds of members: married throuples who are prayerfully seeking a sister wife to join their home, and single women seeking a covenant household to join. Every profile states which path it is on, so nobody has to guess.

The sister-wife bond

A sister wife is not a guest or an assistant. She is a wife with her own standing, her own voice in the household, her own relationship with the husband and a genuine sisterhood with the first wife. Where that sisterhood is not real, the home does not hold.

The first wife's consent

Nothing moves forward without the first wife's full agreement — not a reluctant yes, an actual yes. On this site throuples share one profile and are expected to speak together. A throuple pursuing a woman behind the first wife's back is not welcome.

How it usually unfolds

Friendship first, then courtship with the household as a whole, then unhurried conversations about faith, finances, children, living arrangements and intimacy, then a covenant commitment. Most homes take many months. Speed is a warning sign, not a virtue.

Expectations we hold

Honesty about your marital status. Patience with a woman's pace. No pressure, no coercion, no secrecy. Understand that plural marriage is not legally recognised in most places — the second union is a covenant before God, and practical matters like property, inheritance and children should be discussed openly and early.

Common questions

Is this legal?

Only one marriage can be legally registered in most countries. Members here enter a covenant marriage before God and their community for any union beyond the first. Because of that, plan finances, housing and inheritance deliberately and get advice where you can.

Does the sister wife have equal standing?

Yes. Scripture is direct about it — a man may not diminish the food, clothing or marital rights of the first wife when he takes another (Exodus 21:10). Equal care, equal honour, equal time.

What about children?

Children of every wife belong to the household equally. Talk about schooling, discipline and provision before covenant, not after.

Can a single man join?

This community is built for throuples seeking a sister wife and for women seeking a household to join. Single men who intend to build a polygynous home in the future are welcome to learn here, but the matching is built around that pairing.

What if I change my mind?

Then you say so. Withdrawing during courtship is honourable, not a betrayal. You can also hide your profile or block anyone at any time from your profile settings.

Walk in with your eyes open

If this is the life God has put on your heart, build a real profile — your household or your own story — and meet people who want the same covenant.
